Preview: Sarah + Ben

Here's a really good clue that a bride and groom have what it takes for the long haul:  They stay absolutely calm when their wedding gets moved and turned upside down due to bad weather.  Because they know, when it comes down to it, that the location/details/decoration is just the icing on the cake (come to think of it, so is the cake)...

Sarah and Ben were so much fun to photograph.  Not just because they are a good looking couple (they are) and not just because their families were welcoming and gracious towards me (they were) but because they had a deep sense of calm and joy in the midst of the chaos.  When their perfectly planned outdoor wedding suddenly was moved indoors, they just held hands and smiled bigger.  And when the thunder clapped during their ceremony and the skies opened up, it was a beautiful moment:  These two can handle whatever is heading their way.  They are just that good together.

Sarah and Ben, enjoy your previews!

Preview: Parker's a big brother!

As of today, Parker (the handsome little guy featured above) is a big brother!  Baby Blake made his big debut, making these captured moments even more precious.  I loved this fun maternity session - the colors, the beautiful mama (and belly), the family dynamic and getting to share some of Parker's last hours as an only child!  Enjoy your previews!
